Everybody loves to eat. The point is the same: gastronomy starts where we not only stuff our guts a bit when it really counts to have some kind of positive experience, not just meeting a biological necessity. It can in the best case scenario even mean a fantastic moment.

Still, most people today would rather go to a restaurant or order something. I don’t think there’s any problem with this. Except that you value something much more when you've created it yourself. If you focus on it, it can be relaxing, energetic and boosting at the same time.

And if you get the hang of some cool cooking techniques you will get faster and as a result you will cook more often in a good mood.

Of course there is an option when your family or your colleagues are just relaxing, having drinks and enjoying what I cook 🙂

It already happened that literally a just-married couple was given one a private cooking session with me as a gift. The goal was to teach them as many easy but delicious courses in 4-5 hours as possible.

At another time I was regularly visiting a woman for cooking sessions where I taught her knife techniques, cooking skills and several courses.

IMPORTANT:

In the case of just 1-2 people, I can either go to your chosen place, or I can arrange a location for you. Please note that the expenses are much higher than for instance in the case of my Open Workshops. (rental fee, ingredients, my time and expertise)

I have cooked romantic dinners for cute couples several times for instance at Valentine’s Day or I even remember a “Gourmet Wedding” where the two of us cooked a luxurious dinner for 75 people.

One of my favorite jobs was when I had to cook an 18kg Hungarian "pörkölt", gray beef stew with potato,and make 35 pizzas in a very big outdoor oven for 80 people. And I did it almost entirely alone! (Even I hardly believe it)

In the case of the Private Chef service, since you are not asking for a V.I.P. Workshop, I cook on my own or with a chef of mine. The participants can just enjoy the party and eat the food we make.

Of course we are open for a little chit-chat or to tell some of our secrets but we mainly focus on the actual work.
